Overall Details

The run area is formed from an electro polished stainless steel frame, with toughened glass infill. Solid lower division panels (steel/fire retardant insulation/steel) are sealed to the floor.

White polypropylene Cabins at rear of run. Design eliminates awkward cleaning space below.

Cabins have internal elevated sleep shelves. The elevated, fully sealed cabin, eases cleaning.

FIRE SAFETY Current regulations call for the sleeping area to be heated. Many designs with large, poorly insulated sleep areas require high watt heaters and associated wiring.

With fire alarms we have a good chance to escape from a fire in our houses.

Cats, locked in for the night, cannot raise an alarm or escape if faulty wiring starts a fire.

Our Cabins are heated by a warm duct, eliminating the need for wiring and heaters within the cattery and the insulated cabins require only a small heat input to provide a comfortable temperature for the cats.

A Cat Flap set in the front wall of the cabin leads to an elevated additional sleep shelf in the run area, connected to the run floor by a stepped ladder and lower sleep table. All of these items lift easily off for cleaning. The stepped ladder with gentle slope and sides was developed in conjunction with the RSPCA with kittens and elderly or infirm cats in mind.

A ventilation panel in the rear wall can be opened on hot days, and a permanent gap at floor level allows complete washing through of the sleep area.

The external finish can be tailored to suit local requirements, and the roof, which is formed from Kingspan insulated panels, ensures that the cattery will not overheat in the summer, retains heat in the winter and absorbs the sound of heavy rain.

Our aim is to provide a comfortable, safe and secure, low maintenance and hygienic home for cats, with a long life expectancy. For boarding or rescue the ability to easily clean all surfaces ready for the next occupant is of prime importance. In commercial catteries our experience shows that prospective boarders look for these qualities.

Prices from £2600.00 per run include installation (on to a prepared foundation), heating and lighting.
